Eco One can be used with chlorine, bromine, Baqua
Spa and Nature2. While we are aware that lots of people use Eco One with
out any other sanitizer we are not fully comfortable recommending this.
The following system e have found to be very easy to follow and giving extremely
nice clean water. So why use Eco if you still
need other products? click here to find out
- Add bottle of Step One to old spa water and run as normal for 7 days.
You may continue to use the spa during this period. Do check sanitizer
level as they may spike or drop as Step 1 spa cleanser can cause unused
chemicals to be released. This must be done even with brand new spas as
most manufactures "wet test" their spas allowing things to grow. You
will want to re-add Step one spa cleanser every other drain and refill from
here on out.
- Drain spa water after running step one spa cleanser for one week.
Clean spa surface as well as spa cover.
- Install a
nature2 cartridge in filter compartment.
- Refill and add 1 ounce of
chlorine
granular per 250 gallons.
- Check pH and adjust to between 7.0 and 8.0
- Heat spa to desired temperature.
- Add Eco One
Spa treatment.
- Add 2 caps of
Eco One Filter Boost
in spa filter compartment (or skimmer)
- Enjoy your spa!
Each Use of Spa
- Add 1 table spoon of
Leisure Time Renew non chlorine shock
Weekly
- Add 1 teaspoon of Chlorine per 250 gallons
- Check pH (pH should be very stable with Eco One but you should still
check)
Monthly
- Remove and clean filters with high pressure hose. You should not
need to soak your filters with eco one.
- Clean top and bottom of cover with Eco One Spa Cover Conditioner and Restorer.
- Add 2 caps of Eco One Filter Boost in spa filter compartment (or skimmer)
- Add Eco One Spa Treatment (Light use spa treatment can be added only
every other month.)
Every 4 Months
- Drain spa
- Go to step 3 on above instructions.
